Sanitary Y-Type Strainer – Online Maintenance for Liquid Cooling Systems

The Sanitary Y-Type Strainer is designed for liquid cooling systems as an in‑line coarse filter, effectively capturing weld slag, metal chips, and other large particulates. Made of 304/316L stainless steel, its Y‑shaped flow path ensures low pressure drop and high flow capacity,making it ideal for CDU loops, micro‑channel cold plates, and pump inlets.


APPLICATIONS

  • CDU Loop Inlet Coarse Filtration: Installed at the main circulation inlet of Cooling Distribution Units (CDU) to capture large particles and protect heat exchangers.

  • First Fill & Flushing of Cold Plate Systems: During initial filling or pipeline flushing, effectively removes weld slag, metal chips, and debris from installation.

  • Front‑End Protection for Micro‑Channel Cold Plates: Placed upstream of micro‑channel cold plates to prevent clogging of fine passages and ensure uniform heat dissipation.

  • Pump Inlet Protection: Mounted before the circulation pump suction port to prevent foreign matter from causing impeller wear or seizure.
