It is a high-efficiency sediment filter. By folding the PP or Polyester media or others filter medias such as PES/PVDF/PTFE/MCE etc. like an accordion, it provides 3-5x the surface area of standard filters, ensuring superior dirt-holding capacity and a longer service life.

They are cartridge filters engineered from 100% pure polypropylene from filter media to the cage and caps. They feature excellent chemical compatibility. FAD compliant PP pleated cartridges are ideal for food, beverage, and sterile industrial applications without leaching.

The pleated sediment filters offer higher flow rates and significantly lower initial pressure drop. Because of more surface area, they can hold more dirt before clogging. Their reusable design makes them a cost-effective filtration solution for high-volume water systems.

"Cartridge filter" is the category; "Pleated" is the premium high-surface-area type. Compared to melt-blown filter cartridge or string-wound filters, pleated versions offer more precise surface filtration.
