High-Efficiency Coalescing Filter Element for Fuel & Oil Water Separation
Filter Mechanical Impurities: Capable of filtering out solid particles and other mechanical impurities contained in the medium (such as oil, water, or other liquids).
Separate Water: This is the core function. It separates emulsified water from the medium through the mechanisms of demulsification and coalescence.
Coalesce into Large Droplets and Settle: The separated small water droplets coalesce into larger droplets due to surface tension inside the filter element (e.g., on ultrafine fibers). These large droplets settle to the bottom of the container due to gravity, thus achieving the separation of water from the medium and facilitating further purification.
Brief Description of the Working Principle: Solid particles and liquid mist droplets in the medium are captured by ultrafine fibers under the action of three filtration mechanisms: inertial collision, diffusion interception, and direct interception. Small droplets coalesce and grow larger due to surface tension, and finally settle due to gravity.
