& Viscous Applications
The Metal Filter Cartridge series features a pleated design using sintered
stainless steel fiber felt, creating a gradient density structure that
ensures depth filtration with high retention efficiency. This compact
configuration offers an enlarged filtration area, superior dirt holding
capacity, and extended service life. Resistant to high temperatures
and suitable for repeated cleaning, it is designed for demanding
applications including high-viscosity fluids, compressed air,
and chemical intermediate purification.
Pleated structure enhances dirt-holding capacity and extends the service cycle
Suitable for high flow rate and continuous operation conditions
High-temperature and corrosion resistant, structurally stable
Commonly 5–200 μm, customizable according to system requirements
Supports chemical or ultrasonic cleaning
Suitable for volume system applications
For challenging fluids like resins, polymer melts, and high-temperature oils. Ensures reliable performance under extreme conditions.
Effectively removes oil aerosols, water droplets, and solid particulates. Pressure-resistant all-metal construction delivers clean, safe air.
Used in petrochemical and pharmaceutical synthesis for catalyst recovery and product filtration. Offers excellent chemical resistance.
• Medium-precision filtration in CDU main loops or branches
• Branch loops in cold plate parallel systems
• Long-term operation filtration for data center liquid cooling systems
• As pre-filtration for sintered filter cartridges, extending the lifespan of fine filters
Large Filtration Area Design
The pleated design greatly increases the filtration surface area. Combined with the inherent high dirt capacity of the sintered felt, it achieves a remarkably long service life
Exceptional Dirt Holding Capacity
As a 3D depth filtration media with a gradient pore structure, it effectively traps contaminants throughout its
entire matrix, offering a far superior dirt capacity compared to surface filters.
Excellent High-Temperature Resistance & Structural Stability
The all-metal construction withstand high temperatures, provides high mechanical strength, and resists deformation under high differential pressure, ensuring reliable performance in harsh conditions.
Effective Regenerability
The robust sintered structure allows for effective regeneration through methods like backwashing or chemical cleaning, enabling reuse and reducing the total cost of ownership.

How do I choose the right stainless steel pleated filter cartridge for my application?
Selection should be based on your process fluid, required filtration rating, operating temperature, flow rate, pressure conditions, cartridge dimensions, end-cap type, and seal material. For high-temperature, viscous, chemical, compressed-air, or liquid-cooling applications, these parameters should be evaluated together rather than selecting only by micron rating.
What micron rating should I choose for a stainless steel pleated filter cartridge?
The appropriate micron rating depends on the particle size to be removed, required downstream cleanliness, contamination load, flow requirement, and the role of the filter in the system. This stainless steel pleated filter cartridge is commonly available in the 5–200 μm range, with other ratings selectable according to specific process requirements.
Is this stainless steel filter cartridge suitable for high-temperature and high-viscosity fluids?
Yes, its all-metal sintered stainless steel construction is designed for demanding filtration conditions where polymer filter media may be unsuitable. It can be considered for high-temperature oils, resins, polymer melts, chemical intermediates, and other viscous fluids, provided the actual temperature, viscosity, pressure, and chemical compatibility are confirmed before selection.
How do I confirm chemical compatibility with my process fluid?
Chemical compatibility should be evaluated based on the stainless steel grade, seal material, fluid composition, concentration, operating temperature, contact time, and cleaning conditions. Available material and seal combinations may vary, so compatibility should be confirmed against your actual process conditions, especially when filtering corrosive chemicals, solvents, acids, or other aggressive fluids.
Can the stainless steel pleated filter cartridge be cleaned and reused?
The sintered stainless steel structure is designed to support cleaning and reuse under suitable conditions. Depending on the contamination type and process requirements, cleaning methods may include chemical cleaning or ultrasonic cleaning. Actual regeneration performance and service life depend on contaminant characteristics, cleaning procedure, differential pressure, and operating conditions.
Can this stainless steel filter cartridge replace my existing cartridge or fit my current housing?
Compatibility depends on the cartridge diameter, length, end-cap configuration, sealing method, and housing interface. Available configurations include multiple lengths, diameters, end caps, and seal materials. To confirm interchangeability, provide your current cartridge model, dimensions, end-cap type, filtration rating, process fluid, and operating conditions before replacement.
