Current Process

The brewery focuses on producing Lagers and Pilsners with a batch size of 1,000L. To achieve a shelf life exceeding one year, the client has already implemented a meticulous clarification process:

  • Wort Stage: Pre-filtration using fining agents during wort transfer.

  • Post-Fermentation (First Clarification): Application of Cellar Brite to capture proteins and residual yeast via auxiliary fining agents.

  • Final Clarification (Second Clarification): Utilization of Super F. This positively charged silica sol is specifically designed to target and neutralize negatively charged yeast cells.

To ensure the 1,000L batch is processed within a 3–4 hour window, the filtration system must consistently maintain a steady throughput of 250–333 L/h.
